This is a constant question that I know is asked by anyone who owns or uses a laptop computer. Surprisingly, with some very simple steps, you can extend the life of your laptop battery. Manufacturers are working to design a longer life battery but until that happens, try this.

Moving screensavers can be found everywhere online. If you want a really great screensaver you may have to pay for it. Some of the custom built screensavers can cost you several hundred or even thousands of dollars depending on the design.

When you think of the word “notebook”, what comes to mind? The compact computer perhaps? It used to mean a booklet of blank paper that one would write on. This definition went on to represent binders too. Indeed, notebooks, as we used to know them are nearly obsolete.

Every since the introduction of PCs to the computer market, people have been talking about the possibility of a portable computer. Computer engineers didn’t think the idea to be workable though and there wasn’t a lot of commercial interest. Computer manufacturers simply didn’t think ordinary people had any need for a mobile computer. Although a couple of ‘computers’ were released that could be carried around, like the Dynabook, these were little more than toys. The first real laptops were still far away.
